Pilot protocol for accounting GHG emissions at community-level from WRI, ICLEI & C40

New GHG inventory protocol could assist communities in securing climate finance

This tool was developed by the World Resources Institute (WRI), Local Governments for Sustainability (ICLEI), and the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group. The GPC is intended for adoption by local authorities or city governments who exercise jurisdiction over a defined geographic area. Local authority, as defined by ISO/TR-14069, is a public body recognized as such by legislation or by the directives of a higher level of government to set general policies, plans or requirements.
